Tom DiAngelis, PT Co-owner E-mail: tom.diangelis@ comprehensiveptcenter.com Tom graduated with honors from Northeastern University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy. Prior to founding Comprehensive Physical Therapy Center in 1988 with Opal Riddle, PT, Tom worked in various orthopedic and sports medicine settings. Tom re-located to the Cincinnati area in 1985 when he became the Director of Physical Therapy at the University of Cincinnati Hospital. In 1987, he was promoted to Director of Rehabilitation Services where he oversaw the departments of Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Pathology. Tom's primary clinical focus has been in orthopedic physical therapy and sports medicine. He has consulted with a local Fortune 500 company on their ergonomic programs and for cumulative trauma disorders. Tom has also lectured at the University of Cincinnati and College of Mount Saint Joseph's physical therapy programs, as well as for medical students at the University of Cincinnati Medical College. Tom is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), having served on the Private Practice sections Government Affairs Committee; also as past Chair, and Trustee, for the Political Action Committee (PAC). He has also been appointed as Chair of the Reimbursement Committee for the Ohio Physical Therapy Association and was elected to the Board of Directors for the Private Practice Section of the American Physical Therapy Association in 2005; he is currently serving as the sections Vice President. Tom is also a long-standing board member of the Ohio Physical Therapy Network, where he also currently serves as Vice President. In 2006 Tom was awarded the Meritorious Service Award by the Ohio Physical Therapy Association. |

Phyllis Schulte, PT E-mail: phyllis.schulte@ comprehensiveptcenter.com Phyllis is a 1981 graduate of the University of Kentucky's College of Allied Health/Physical Therapy program. She has worked in a variety of physical therapy settings, including Clinton County Memorial Hospital, Towne Physical Therapy and acted as the Occupational and Physical Therapy Coordinator at Brookside, a facility serving mentally retarded children and adults. Focusing primarily on orthopedic physical therapy since 1993, Phyllis has acquired knowledge and experience in Mulligan Concepts, Arthrokinetic Therapy, myofascial release, craniosacral therapy, muscle imbalances, neural tension release and many other manually oriented techniques. She also has expertise in ergonomics and work site analysis. Phyllis was instrumental in forming the CPTC Work Well Program and offers ergonomic consultation to area businesses for injury prevention, including assessment of computer workstation set-ups which Phyllis particularly enjoys. Phyllis has lectured on ergonomic interventions at the College of Mount St. Joseph physical therapy program. She is available to consult on individual work station set-ups for patients and the community. New in 2006: Phyllis has developed a system for assessing young athletes. This assessment addresses joint integrity, tight or weak musculature and spinal anomalies to prevent sports injuries. Danielle Johnson, MPT E-mail: danielle.johnson@ comprehensiveptcenter.com Danielle graduated in 1998 from the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, with a Master of Physical Therapy degree. Upon graduation, Danielle worked at Saint Elizabeth's Medical Center in Wabasha, Minnesota where she received the Circle of Excellence Award for the creation of a wellness and fitness program designed for the diabetic patient. In 2001, Danielle moved to Seattle, Washington, where she worked at the University of Washington Exercise Training Center. Here she focused on outpatient orthopedics, manual therapy, and geriatric fitness. Danielle also helped develop a women's health program aimed at treatment of urinary incontinence, pelvic dysfunction, and pelvic pain. Danielle is currently the clinical coordinator for Comprehensive Physical Therapy Center's Women's Health and Multiple Sclerosis programs. Danielle enjoys attending continuing education courses that pertain to women's health, manual therapy, and orthopedic issues. Danielle enjoys running, hiking, and spending time with family and friends. |
